I wish the plants weren't just to counter a specific zombie. The fish could be deflected by Chard Guards or Spring Beans, the fire put out by by icy attacks or Aloe. Giving old plants new uses is much better than introducing new plants, in my opinion.

Regarding Mino zombie... I believe he was coded like Ra zombie (to store sun/plantfood and release the full value on death) but they added an ability to glow green after stealing 1 plantfood (he starts glowing green like those zombies who drop plantfood) so I think that the extra plantfood is coming from the green glow. 1-2 from stolen ones and an extra from the green glow. Anyway, thank you for the great breakdown. All these videos makes me wonder just how many extra worlds does Chinese version has

So basically: A less powerful version of the perfume zombie An imp that can 2 shot most plants from range A retxtured octo zombie that is less annoying but spawns retextured and more powerful potions on the lawn A zombie that can push 3 zombies forward then another one before one-shotting one of your plants (including instas) A more unique version of the ra zombie that can be exploited for your benefit and also is immune to lobbed attacks fsr And a reskin of the rennisaunce garg... Sounds fun :)

The Chinese devs must add new uses to old plants, and not just make a counter to ability of one or two Zombies that are used only in this world, and make the world itself more unique, adding two/three new Zombies isn't enough, they need to start making something like Dark Ages in terms of adding a new unique mechanic into it.

I don't know if it's just me but even though this world seems pretty finished, it still feels pretty underwhelming. I just feel like the zombies weren't that interesting. For example, the Renaissance age made use of the setting to make original and fun zombie mechanics that haven't been seen before (ballerina zombies with the grouping zombies, perfume zombies with the perfume, etc). While here, it's either a zombie that's already existed just a bit different, or a fine mechanic that isn't really that fun or creative. Firework zombie being an explorer just with more arsonistness, Mino zombie being a Ra zombie just absorbing plant food instead, the ninja imps literally just throwing pufferfish at you, like, seriously? You couldn't do anything better with ninjas? I like the onmyoji zombie though it seems like a bitch to deal with and sushi zombie is fine, just uninspired. It could just be something wrong with me but I'd like to know what you guys think

For me, I do admire a wide enemy variety in my games, but simple reskins just ruin it a bit for me unless it has special reasons for it, like the fact the basics in this world are samurai zombies and not browncoats maintains immersion. But I do see where your coming at, this world has bland plants that counter mostly just a single threat, and most of the zombies are just reskins with copied abilities of other zombies. I would be fine with these zombies if they had other special abilities with their powers, like the fireworks zombies could occasionally ignite flying flares that target random plants in the lawn, the ninjimps could switch lanes or turn invisible with a smoke bomb if they are not hit for too long, the sushi zombie (with a new design cuz that outfit looks so uninspired) could throw diffrent types of sushi to enhance different skills for zombies that eat it, but it would take some time for them to finish consuming it (like about ~5 seconds), and that wind breaker zombie could use a little nerf with that tornado thing only happening after using his ability 2 times, and the Shogun Gargantuar summoning like two samurai zombies to his side (one lane above and below him, or if he is in top or bottom lanes, the other would spawn right next to him) after he lauches his imp, the mino zombie could use a hotfix and that could be it. There are so many creative mechanics that they could have to spice them up to make them more unique than their predecessors. But it's just my opinion on the version.

Imo, I think that the Mino Zombie isn't that bad, yes it's a Ra Zombie for Plant Food, but at the same time, you can consider him a harder version or Ra Zombie since they can ACTUALLY screw you up if they steal a plant food in a bad timming (while Ra Zombies are just an inconvenience in almost any situation)

It would have been cool if fire plants were immune to all fire attacks (explorer, firework zombie etc) but instead of being immune to frost, they were weak to it, being turned back into normal plants by it (eg: fire peashooter becomes normal peashooter, pepper pult becomes melon pult) while it is ice plants like winter melon or snow pea that break ice
