Hasbro and Takara have dropped the first of their new Missing Link figures which takes the original G1 toys and adds modern articulation and accessories. But did this first attempt end up being actually really good? Or is it overhyped and overpriced?

I got the missing link too. It was an incredible piece! I don't want to compare those for the Japanese market to Hasbro's products. But I'll probably go with Takara for transformers toys from now and on.
