My favorite trick these days when I need low level resonators is to find a portal that I can Overclock, deploy a resonator and an Ito+, overclock it, and then put down a heat sink and overclock it again. 8 hacks in about 30 seconds. I need more Ito+ though… :(

When you hack a Level 8 portal successfully you get 15 Glyph Hack Points. Do you get more Glyph Hack Points with the Level 8 Overclock Hack ?

You get the same 15 translator points. You also get 5+15 overclock hack points for a calibrated overclock hack, and during this event that’s 40 chronos points.

Ugh, it is an instant burnout? :( they need to abolish the burnout mechanic. Inventory gathering is such an unforgiving mechanic. I wish they'd make it easier.

Yeah, that’s why I didn’t love it at first, tbh. But now that I’m better at it, it’s actually nice to be able to burn out a portal in a single hack in some circumstances. And if you have a heat sink, you can still do more than 1 overclock hack
