Thanks for the excellent review. When i saw this cases little brother, i wanted that one, but it wasn't a full tower. And then i found this beast. It will eventually replace my NZXT Phantom 820!

Killer case. The Conquer 2 is the nicest open air design I've seen yet and one of the coolest looking cases of all time. Definitely next level and kudos to Cougar for pushing the boundaries. The only thing that bothers me are the exposed I/O cables at the top front of the case where it's open above the glass. They're quite visible and I'd probably do something to conceal them, maybe adding a custom mesh panel in those upper openings. Amazing product nonetheless.

I agree - it is a great case. And as for the exposed cables, they can certainly be moved to a location that is not as obvious, and secured with cable ties.

36:27 I wondered how you were able to address the RGB color on the case and it turns out, all you have to do is hold down the hexagon symbol button next to the power button from the left to synchronize the RGB colors from whatever application the case supports to change colors. If this is common on any PC case, then I didn't know because I'm new to PC. And yes, I do own this case myself. It's an amazing case to purchase.

A proper review, thank you. I have just got this case and wanted to plan how to approach it and you provided some great footage for me to mull over, including not needing to get front panel cable extensions! If you had just taken the front strips out I would have known if I can go full corsair, but hey I have to do some work right ?!

Do you recommend to buy this PC case? Looking to your review i see that is not comfortable to install all PC components into this case, then if i want to change RAM or add RAMs, or change video card, or add HDD and SSDs (M.2 or SATA) etc, then it is very hard to uninstall this case and add some component or change something, by the way every 6-7 months i have to change thermal paste if i install i9-13900K processor or something else, it is really hard and not comfortable to change some detail or components from this PC. Please give me some positive advice or info about this case, if it is exist. Negative things is seen, it gets many DUST, noisy, hard to install into this case (i must remove or uninstall 10-14-20 bolts, and external shields or protective external metal).

The RGB lighting on the front of the case failed pretty early on for me. After only a few month, the right two bars are just white and flicker. Far left still works like normal.

I have an Azza Genesis that I clean every 2 weeks of dust. I can imagine how this is but at least you can clean it without taking it apart.

I’m having trouble with getting the RGB or any buttons to work on my case, however I haven’t finished the build yet as the SATA port on my motherboard is the smaller type. I’m using the Asrock Z490 Aqua and this is actually my first build, so my question is actually how important is the SATA cables? for the case because every other cable is connected except for SATA.

What configuration are you running your fans in? All intake (i noticed it doesnt have a back exhaust) or are you running the cooler as the exhaust? Also how much room is between the front fans and the case?

How did you hook up the rgb fan to sync with the case and/or motherboard(I have an ax370 gaming k5 aorus if that helps?), my biggest concern is having the fan not synced up as its just a static blue right now

Tyler Crider There’s about 1.75” clearance on my GTX Titan (reference card) but even a larger card should be fine.

wouldve looked even better than the first conquer if they made the front panel simple with no rgb. Other than the angled mounting approach the first conquer, I think why people liked it is it's simplicity.

keep ur room clean and have an air purifier :) if a computer collects that much dust, it also means u r breathing in that much of dust as well

Love your review mate, went through the whole chassis in detail. Would loved to see how you plugged in those outer chassis cables into the motherboard and slid the inner chassis back in. All in all a great review

I know that the depth of detail I go into can be overkill, but I am glad you liked it. I pulled the top I/O panel out to make it easier. So I just had to keep an eye on the panel as I slid the chassis back in. And with the large space above the chassis, it was easy to reinstall the I/O panel. I could have done a better job of hiding the cables. There is enough slack to hide them better.

It supports up to CEB form factor motherboards and has eight expansion slots, plus the removable chassis. It can't really be made much smaller but must be very heavy as a consequence.

No. This Conquer 2 only supports Mini ITX / Micro ATX / ATX / CEB. The XII Extreme is E-ATX Form Factor.

Great detailed review. Just WOW! I was about to buy this but your video shows how poor and cheaply this is made. I expected machined aluminium but got pressed steel. The screws are hard to come out because the threads are cut into a pressed hole. I am astonished.

A really big chunky case that looks fancy but nothing else is good about the case i guess. So much screws sliding and shit to get in and cables can not be organized very well. I wouldnt buy this just for the rgb led stuff

Great review of a nasty turd case. Way too loud and would last on my desk maybe 1 day lol. It's innovative and unique but it's price point vs practicality doesn't mesh. Braggarts will love this thing but I can't see them selling too many of these just way too much going on all at once. Kudos to Cougar for bringing something Fresh however.
