Don't think it makes much difference for her, between big or small dogs. A dogs ' unpredictability', is the issue. Keeping a dog on a lead by a big man, and having others around her, where there is security. Then having the dog lie down, still on the lead, is in my view, doing nothing.

When someone has a phobia, unfortunately the phobic response is uncontrollable and immediate when seeing their trigger in whatever capacity.
