The Irish gentleman is interesting. I’d love to sit down with him and let him tell me stories about his life and growing up with 11 brothers. We should listen more to our elders. They have a lot to tell and teach us.
@pjcranberry49126 ай бұрын
This is so true. I wish I would have listened more when my Dad talked about family. My granddad died way before I was born. He would have been so interesting and he and I had so much in common. He did rodeoing to earn enough to put money down on a ranch. I have spent nearly 45 years raising livestock. Listen to people they can tell you so much.

A woman in San Diego CA USA tried to give her baby away down near the docks. The couple didn't take the child but called police. By the time cops got there she had slipped into psychosis. She thought her baby was a rat & drowned it in the water. She'd tried to get help but at the time it was not well understood here. UK was much better

I Love watching these videos I've seen so many of them. The doctors, nursing staff and paramedics should get all the love we can give them as they do this day in and day out. Because this is what they love, God has put them here to take care of us all they're amazing. 💕. Always remember your thank you for taking care of you. I've been watching another show similar to this on situation critical out of Toronto with one of the best trauma hospital in the world. I can't get enough of these shows. Please if you know of one that the USA or Australia does that would be great to know. Thanks.

I needed it. Now that I'm about to be 50, I am more like Joyce. I stay home alone. It's strange how similar our lives can be.

Man I felt for Norman and started to cry when he talked about the loss of his wife, my grandmother passed away six months shy of what would’ve been my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary and it was so hard on my grandfather that he didn’t even want to live anymore right after it happened because he was so lost without my grandmother and although it’s been almost 4.5 years it’s been really hard for him navigating life without her so I know he can relate to Norman’s experience big time.

I’m 64 and already have osteoporosis. I’m so afraid to fall when I get older. Apparently it’s very common on these shows.
@hilaryc32036 ай бұрын
If you've not already, perhaps you can invest in some hand holds around your home, and grab bars in the bathroom. To prevent my dad from falling getting in and out of bed, he had a grab pole that was on the floor and went up to the ceiling, sturdy, and he would use it getting in and out of bed. Not just for falling, but as leverage to swing his legs and body around. It really helped. For myself, same age as you, whilst I miss having long and lovely hot soaks in the tub, I opted for a big walk in shower and I no longer have to climb over the tub edge, steading myself as I put my foot down on the other side.
@Grace1957-8 ай бұрын
You come in with a possible broken foot/ankle and they make you walk to x-ray?
@Jana.Milcham7 ай бұрын
I could definitely relate to the panic attacks she describes. They don’t happen often, but when they do it completely blindsides me. I know my trigger now, it’s actually a very specific odor. It’s weird how the brain works, though I’m very thankful it’s a cologne brand hardly any wear instead of all men in general. My mind thinks it’s protecting me by warning of danger, but the way it does puts me in danger. So now I carry Xanax and a copy of the prescription just in case, despite the last panic attack having been in 2015. Because I never know when I will encounter that smell again, if ever.
