I realised that I became happier when I stopped comparing with others. I now just focus on myself, do things at my own pace and I expect less from myself and other people. I also cut off people who are toxic from my life and I only have 2-3 close friends. I don't need all that drama and unnecessary stress cos life is already stressful as it is. I am also not bothered by other people having bigger salary than myself. As long as I can pay bills, feed my family and me I'm happy already. So pls stop COMPARING yourself to other people.

Yassss 👏👏👏👏👏 say it louder Actually uk wat I'm the opposite All my life Ive been the "happy-go-lucky" type of person, and nvr knew how to compare myself to others And although I was happy most of the time, there were times where I would be upset due to how little I knew abt the world, since it crashes with my personality Anyway I realised this because I met some1 with the exact opposite mentality, and we are somehow shift to the other side of our spectram

Really enjoyed this episode. But honestly, too short of a video. This episode involves such an important topic, especially during these tough times and I wish it was longer

I just wanted to add on to that popular phrase that Ellena shared - I agree that 'it's okay to not be okay', but more importantly, it's not okay to stay 'not okay'. You may feel defeated and lost, but hey - don't stay defeated; don't stay lost. Continue to keep on keeping on, and I hope you eventually find your way. ❤️

A lot of people don’t know what they want, what’s their goals and dreams even in their 30s or older - it’s okay❤️. It’s hard in SG context because societal norms forced us to take up a job and compare yourself with peers right after you graduate. Most of them are caught in the corporate rat race, holding onto titles, climbing the career ladder without stopping to think about what they really want - resulting in them feeling unfulfilled despite having a seemingly good and decent job. At the end of the day, outside of your job, WHO are you? What makes you happy and glow? Don’t join the race blindly. It’s okay to take a step back and take your time to think. You only have one life, live it being happy. 😌

Thank you guys for this video, I agree 100%!! I believe more Singaporeans need to hear this, especially with our rat race culture. Chill out everyone, take this life to live, not just survive. At your deathbed, will you be thinking about the money you have or the memories you've made?

But on a flip side to Nicole's idea of mental health, there are also people like me, who don't see the money flowing in, get even more hard up and agitated. While I'm not in the best state working, I'm even worse not working.

5:28 Everyone has a hard life experience. I think how to overcome it and move forward is a very important point. As it is said that failure is the mother of success, I believe that a bright day will come someday if you focus on what you want to do and make an effort..! I have a question, are you familiar with Korean culture, clothing, and music in Singapore?

In summary if you don't take care of yourself when you're young, then you'll become the pay master of your medical doctor when you're old. What's the point of earning lots of money when you cant enjoy it in old age?
