I'm contemplating getting that rig. As far as the springs being damaged, well, I don't think so. But if you plan on shooting at that level, like I will be doing, you could always drill two holes on the uprights.

@@kelalamusic9258 That’s a great idea! I always worry about keeping springs compressed all the time but you’re correct it’s probably unwarranted in this case. Thanks for watching!
