I like the swamp donkey but these speakers are 65watts rms. I’m pretty sure they are being run solely buy the head unit which is probably 18 watts rms per channel. Somehow hook a amp up to these bad boys and she would really crank.

@@EverydayMan for the price this DEF needs an amp. is have an ssv with 4 -6.5 's and it is oretty good. however it does have an amp

Everyday man , I bought an XP with Swamp Donkey in it already. Trying to tune stations works great while my hand is up close to radio, but when I lower my hand stations get staticky? Can you help me ? Thx Jack

Was looking to add this but I wish it could be mounted more forward on the roof in that open, curved space above the rear view mirror. I get the impression that the angle to look at it is pretty extreme…like sitting in the first row at a movie theater…lol. I’ll keep this on my wish list. Looks good tho!

Did you check out the SSV works overhead sound bar before purchasing this one? I am in the market but can't decide on with one. I do want lights on my speakers.

I liked the idea of having a radio as well as Bluetooth. I think that swayed me.

I wonder if this will fit with oem flip up glass with the power windshield wiper kit? Website didn’t say anything about it... the ssv overhead says it doesn’t fit with the wiper kit in its description

This one fits behind the curved sheet metal on top the defender. So it is back away from the windsheild by a lot. Im sure you can email them to ask, but I'm guessing it will. The ssv fits under that sheet metal peice.

I think I will try and find a sub for under the seat to fill the sound. But that is the second swamp donkey I've bought. They are very nice.

Bro I couldn’t even last the whole video. All that damn heavy breathing made my fat ass start trying to hold my breath. That being said my man I’m looking for something that’s going to replace the head liner. Not go up above it. Nice choice though for those that don’t care about that gaping mess between the windshield and the roof

How do you think this compares to a loud soundbar such as a wetsounds stealth 10 or a powerbass. Ive notived the speakers are pounted straight down and in front of me on this unit. I want to put it on my rzr but idk if it will be loud enough while running and have enough bass.
