I think the negative air pressure is wrong as dust will be sucked into the case. With more intake fan, dust will be filtered out by the dust net, and all the air will be pushed out on the other spaces and won’t be too much dust.

Other way around The air going out is higher than the air coming in. So anything that comes in will for sure go out. If you have more air coming in then the dust settles in the space before it gets sucked out

Excellent and clear explanation! You mentioned AIO cooling as your option to thermal throttling, but how about CPU air cooling options like the Noctua D15? Those Windows power settings are very useful you shared. Did you reduce your system to 90% so you’d get the CPU not reaching 100c temps? Is this option in Windows the same as undervolting, or is it different/safer to do?

It's the same as undervolting Less voltage means less Power which means less heat. It's typical to turn the voltage down while turning the clock up to get faster speed with less heat.

@@GearsAndTech Is changing it this way within windows power settings safer and stable, compared to in BIOS? To keep a CPU cooler with lower temps, is there a method of turning the % down in the windows power settings, or is it trial and error - speed vs heat tolerance

I build a PC with an i7-13700k, RTX 4080, 32Gb of DDR5. My i7-13700k was overheating, when gaming, it ran everytime at 100°C, but one day during a gaming session, the pc shut down alone. I tried to power up it, but my motherboard was tellin' me that my CPU isn't detected, so I went to a repair store and they tested that and confirmed that the CPU died. I changed it to a i5-14600k and now it's workin' fine. The guy workin' at the store told me that the fans were mounted upside down (not for the ventirad). I guess that's why my pc wasn't cooling properly.

At what temperature do modern cpus throttle? What temperature should I set for my AIO fans to run at 100%? 80°c?

80 degrees would be safe

i have acer nitro 5. everything was going good but after i change thermalpaste and clean my laptop , its performance is down. before servicing my max temp goes to 80deg C but now it goes to 93 C and stop there and performance is very down due to high temp .. i repaste again but it did'nt get back to normal what should i do now

Something isn't working right. Without seeing it I can't say for sure Are your fans spinning up?

@@GearsAndTech yes fan is working properly.. i can't figure out what happened after changing thermal paste. My local technician also don't know how to fix. After changing thermalpaste and cleaning it was supposed to be better than before but it's been just opposite 😓😓 While gaming cpu tem stuck at 93C .. and FPS is also drop

i have mpg msi z590 gaming force 32 gb ram ssd 908 pro psu 650 w. today i change my i5 11400 f to i7 11700 but anyway i have hight temperature and overheating. cpu cooler msi p240 idk what problem. i think i need change psu

PSU is a little small But if you run the tests I show you can answer a lot of those questions without blindly guessing

Check your thermal paste. You don't have any If you do, then you probbaly forgot to pull the plastic sticker of the thermal plate. Something isn't right with your connection to the thermal pad
