Unfortunately ADL bodied buses have a flaw where the radiators get clogged up due to the design, causing excess heat and the sensor telling the ECU that the bus is low on coolant. It's simply cured by jet washing them to clear them out.

Yep that's exactly what happened here bus pulled off and rads jetted then back out later on.

@@TheUKTransportCollection I think the problem lies with the way they've mounted the ducting for the radiator, acts more as a collection point for dust and debris, aside from that ADL bodied buses are good vehicles

If the bus is overheating don't rev it too much or it'll burst into flames or just don't do it at all.

Actually revving it for a short time can help desolate excess heat and cool the engine

Not really. This one had just been off a while awaiting repair it was taken back to the depot and rads jetted out then back on the road it was a simple mistake but ADL bodys are known for needing the rads jetting regular
