i got a chance to try this yoke at the FS Expo in Vegas and I have to agree that it takes your flying to the next level. It was set up with X-Plane and the owner of the company was there. Challenged me to take off, do a power-on stall, then land the airplane. I felt so comfortable with this yoke that I was able to do the cleanest stall and recovery I've ever done, and while Fabian (the owner) and a couple of people were talking about what I did that they missed my butter-smooth landing. The amount of fidelity this brings is incredible! The big distractor is the price of course, but I'm working up to it. My buddy who went to the expo with me did take the plunge and loves his! Great review Overkill! (And it was great meeting you at the Expo too!)

Thanks for highlighting the CLS-60. I just completed my very first flight sim. I was watching this product through it's early development, and was in the customer cue of the first 150 ordered when released and was able to receive the introductory price. The customer service when I had questions were quickly answered personally by Fabian himself. I also had to wait for the Buttkicker Pro as well, but all was well worth the wait. Thanks again!

CLS60 is a great yoke! I have two of them. And so yeah yoke synchronization you talk about at 3:44 is for synchronizing two physical yokes to work together. Not physical with in-sim yoke. Just wanted to clarify that.

Yes that is correct! Thank you for stating that. My mistake if I said otherwise

In 1997 Microsoft came out with the Sidewinder forcefeedback joystick @ $109,later they issued the forcefeedback II which used a USB interface.Why they stopped the product I don't know,but they come up now and then on Ebay and are well worth getting but don't forget that it must be the forcefeedback II.You'll need software to drive it in the form of Xpforce,its about $20 and well worth it.Even without Xpforce,its still a nicer experience than springs which can be too heavy and tiring..........

I find it kinda wild that force feedback is so rare on the hardware market right now, when we have so many good bits of kit these days, and yet I had a Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback joystick back in the year 2001, with MSFS2000!

@@OverkillSimulations Definitely appreciate that you are continuing to enhance your videos. Random question though, who did your intro? I made my own from my own flying videos but would like to go into the direction you did

Since comanche released I don’t fly any aircraft but the comanche , with cls 60 mounted to my dof h3 , 3 monitors and g1000 simionic and simflypad , I can’t ask for more ❤🤤

Do you think that the force feed back with the cls60 is enough for the majority if not all aircraft, or do you think the cls120 with twice as much force feed back would need to cover larger aircraft
@Soarbywire6 күн бұрын
Yeah would like to know if the CLS60 is sufficient for tubeliner 737 flying as well.

Yep, good software is key.

Force feedback, G-seat or 6dof motion! 360 deg hires visual system! Yeah! Mortgage the house and kids! 🤣

The kids!!?? You can do that!!??? ;)

Wait, we can mortgage our kids now?

It gets old faster than you think...

@ We built full motion, full visual sims for the military - never got tired of taking one out for a spin. Never did like the G-seat, I didn’t think it gave the right cues but they were a lot cheaper than a motion base. OTOH, you’re probably right about a home sim
@theeltea13 күн бұрын
@@john-or9cf A spin is a bit different than owning one full-time is all I'm sayin. Like an aerobatics aircraft. Taking one for a spin? Anytime. Owning one? Naaah

Real yoke doesn’t travel that far back in real life. Can they make it shorter?
