I’ve been working on my set up for two years now. Hoping by the end of this summer I can have it ready to use. Hummer and an over land trailer plus my gear. Over landing on a budget for a while, work in progress. It’s quite the original set up and I still got lots of things to do to truly finish it up. I made room for a blow up boat and a enduro bike I just haven’t bought yet. I also still need a decent solar package and have to upgrade my trailer axle. I’m at about 20 grand spent, I figure another 10-15 k should getter done. It will be my rig for working living and playing in cottage country Muskoka. Have nothing but respect for you guys, it’s a lot of work putting together a nice overland rig. It’s really challenging my skill set and I’m learning a lot.

My Patagona MTs replaced BFG KO2s on my Jeep JLU. I prefer the Patagonias. I was told the KO2s are better, but that was not my experience. My next set will be Patagonias.

I’m with you. I had KO2’s prior on a couple vehicles. They were a little better mannered on the road, but Offroad no comparison. The Patagonia’s have been fantastic

You mentioned getting your engine replaced. Was there an upgrade, or did the old one break?

Yeah timing guide broke somehow and sent metal bits through the oil. We opted for a new 3.6. The prices of going to a v8 swap are insane

Wow I missed this comment sorry! It’s from G4free on Amazon. I have a couple of their bags and they have held up really well. I don’t see this exact one listed anymore but they have some similar. It has a couple pouches, plenty of room to carry items and has a 2a pocket as well

Great vid. But do you have to put so many cuts in while shooting yourself at the start? So annoying. I love the roof cover on your rooftop camper, it’s grouse as. 🇦🇺

Your microphone sounds muffled

Yes this was my first time using some wireless lav mics on my iphone. I did not use my other cameras because of the rain. There is also some noise reduction going on from all the background noise. I need to find a good solution for these kind of noise environments, definitely open to suggestions!

@@OverlandAZ I don't have much experience with wireless mics, but I see a lot of the biggest KZbinrs using DJI mics and they sound good in their videos.
