Can't tell what is your greatest passion...such a nice video and scenes. Always having coffee, staring a Landy or two down, eating, spoiling the 2 x four legged kids. My guess... 1. Each other. 2. The lovely dogs. 3. Land Rovers. (Adolf) 4. Coffee. 5. Coffee. 6. Coffee. 7. Buying gimmicks and treats for the doggies. And..... 8. Coffee..... Thanks, enjoyed it very much.... Ps. That jump from the roof to the bonnet of the Landy sent a wave of pain right through every muscle in my body... Remember: *Every Landy has a soul...* Regards from RSA 🇿🇦

Nice trip and backpacking, very jealous of being able to move with that freedom , Spain is different and of course with its own music and different cultures. I dare you to know Cordillera Cantábrica, where if your companion howls perhaps is answered by a true wolf or perhaps you feel the presence of the bear, try to know this mountains.

Your drone shots whilst you're on the move are epic! Cinematic! (But you do make me nervous when you are flying close to trees - because of what happened to my drone, obviously!!) 🤣😭 What was the deal with that beige Santana Land Rover at the start? It looked old, but it looked as though it had more modern parts stuck on 🤔 Your hike and camping footage was so idyllic - and the well deserved lunch and the large glass of red with the cheeky look Your videos make me feel so happy ☺️

Santana were built locally under licence from LR. They often had a curious mix of parts. That one looks like it has had early Defender bonnet, grille & headlights fitted. I’ve seen it some in the U.K. too.

"Overlanding and Backpacking in the Spanish Pyrenees" proceeds to start the video with Flamenco music, which is nice, but also the least Northern Spanish music ever. I can't wait to visit London and slap a Highland bagpipe solo as background music 😀. Great video anyway!! Liked and Subscribed!!

Ahhh we really thought it was a beautiful piece of music & I think as we have to use royalty free music we don't have the biggest selection available, but thanks for letting us know that maybe it wasn't the best choice! Love your videos! Just a quick question. Is this mainly filmed on a Sony A7III? If so, what lenses do you use?
@topy102 жыл бұрын
Nice places and nice video. Just in case you're not aware, in Spain is not legal to camp outside designated areas. Nevertheless, the law is different in each autonomous community. For instance, in Aragón where this video is filmed, free camping is completely illegal (fines may vary from 600 to 6000 euros). There are 3 different concepts in the Spanish law to know: camping (use of a temporary housing), pernoctar (spend the night in a shelter or structure) and vivac (sleep rough). The only heavily restricted is camping, and that includes vehicles with expanding structures beyond the vehicle perimeter. Of course, many people illegally camp, specially at high altitudes where the odds of being detected are reduced but have in mind that forest rangers do patrol, so it's a question of luck. The same applies to bathing in mountain lakes. These are very fragile ecosystems under strict protection that are dramatically affected by skin bacteria, sweat or traces of creams and perfumes. Fines are also quite high. Hope this is helpful for anyone planning to hike the mountains in Spain. Remember to check the local regulations so you know what you're exposing yourself to. Good luck !!!
@SomewhereWilder2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for letting us know about this!! All our research online before said it was okay to camp above 2000m in this area which is why we chose this hike - also on the hike there were signs at the lower regions saying no tent camping but once we reached the higher altitudes there was no signs saying it was prohibited so we thought it was okay, but we’ll definitely remember that for next time thank you!! The same for swimming, we were previously at Aigüestortes and of course there everything is so restricted (check out our previous video we talk about it) but when we arrived to this area we didn’t see any signs or anything saying no swimming so we thought it was okay, but we understand now that we shouldn’t have and won’t do it again ❤ thank you so letting us know!!
@MorningNapalm Жыл бұрын
Does a pop-roof tent count as expanding the vehicle perimeter?
@topy10 Жыл бұрын
@@MorningNapalm No. Anything on top of the vehicle not projecting outside the original perimeter is allowed. For instance, you can open lateral sliding windows or roof windows but not the lateral hinged ones (those increase the perimeter when open). You can't use the canopy or take chairs outside (this is considered camping). Anyway, check the area signs or ask the local police.
