I'm another 80 year old guy that likes the outdoors and thinks like you. I am enjoying your channel.

Thanks, I'm still having fun doing it. The biggest challenge is finding subjects that appeal to me for the videos, because I can't start as many projects as I once could, and I'm not going to buy a lot of stuff just to make videos.

@@anoldretiredguy I totally understand. Just do what you feel good about. We will enjoy and appreciate it.

Your basic theme - match the expense and complexity of overlanding to the amount of your overloading you actually do - reminds me of all these jacked-up trucks & SUV's I see, driven by owners who use them to commute to work and then drive them to Walmart on the weekends. We Americans dream big but live relatively mild lives.

You certainly don’t look 80. Keep living the good life.

Good video! I'm loving my xterra!

I lived in my X-terra for a summer when I had that 12v Coleman cooler. It really was better then a fridge back then. I miss it. Beware "the pink milkshake of death. " the transmission intercooler and coolent radiator share the same, well radiator. The membrane is known to fail and in my case the radiator fluid flooded the transmission . There are cheep preventative options . Good luck. I miss mine.

Yeah, I bypassed the radiator transmission cooler on mine and then eventually replaced the radiator.

Good point, it would make a nasty missile. However, the clamps are pretty resilient - I think they would hold in anything short of a major collision.
