Welcome to my channel, where we explore the most incredible corners of Baja California Sur through fascinating overlanding adventures, aerial drone photography, and thrilling journeys. Land Journey from La Paz to San Juan de la Costa, Punta Coyote, and El Portugués
Join me on one of my favorite and frequently traveled routes. We start in La Paz, known for its beautiful boardwalk and vibrant cultural life, and venture into impressive desert landscapes heading towards San Juan de la Costa. This route offers spectacular panoramic views where the desert meets the sea.
On this journey, we capture aerial drone footage of bullfish shoals, dolphins, jumping mobulas, and cow-nosed rays. We explore the region's rich geology with ancient volcanoes and fossil coral reefs. We visit coastal communities like San Juan de la Costa, with its mining history, and Punta Coyote, a hidden paradise with pristine beaches and turquoise waters.
On land, we film and photograph semi-wild domestic animals such as cows, horses, and donkeys, and visit ranches that keep the traditions of livestock and subsistence agriculture alive. We also highlight the avian biodiversity, observing various species of migratory and resident birds.
Our journey culminates in El Portugués, a fascinating place with an immense sand dune and a spectacular beach. From the Botafuego lookout, we enjoy panoramic views that encompass the vast desert and the sea.
