Guys, it's really so "crazy" idea to rent an old soviet "buhanka"😅. It certainly gives you a lot of impressions and true taste of the country. I like Kyrgyzstan and Issyk-Kul as well. Have a good journey in Kyrgyzstan.

I get wicked motion sickness in the UAZ. Did it stink of gasoline inside all the time? Because that's what it's known for. In soviet times, it was used as ambulances in rural areas. I swear, they lost more patients to gasoline fume poisoning in transport than to any actual disease. Congrats on going hard core for the trip. I wouldn't have had the guts, truth be told.

To be honest the gas smell was only noticeable when we were at high altitude, I think due to the pressure and the amount of gas we would lose as we had to let out the air was crazy 😂 thanks! Honestly we loved driving the UAZ around, a very unique and iconic vehicle
