The redwoods always seem to be notoriously hard to capture just how big they are…I must say, you did an excellent job doing just that!❤. Standing in front of that huge bark was just breathtaking!

Thank you so much! We completely agree-it’s almost impossible to capture their true size and presence. Standing in front of them really makes you feel small in the best way.

I'm really enjoying your videos! Wished I had known that you were going to be in Sequoia National Park. I used to work for the Park Service there. I could have given you some tips on things to see. Visalia is my hometown, and the orange groves you drove past as you came down out of the mountains were managed and owned by a family member whom I worked for as a kid.

Thank you so much! That would’ve been really interesting! Thanks a lot for sharing this-it’s incredible! Do you still live in the area?

No, I moved to Colorado back in the late 70s.

Another beautiful video. Loved it that you visited the Corrizo plains. They are a beautiful wild and unique part of California. Hope you can see the super bloom there someday. The drone footage of the San Andreas fault was amazing.

Thank you so much! It was indeed amazing. Sadly, we had heavy wind, but it was perfect for us. It almost feels surreal to see this shape from above.

Love watching this video- from Manila. Seeing the sequoias and appropriately namesake San Andreea fault. ;-)

One minute beside me in the camping chair, and the next minute in Manila! Using that name and ‘fault’ in the same sentence is true bravery… hahaha!

Just stumbled on your channel and subscribed. We are in Northern CA. Our daughter lived in Basel CH for over 4 years, so we are looking forward to your view coming from Switzerland.

Hi Bill, thanks a lot! That’s great. I saw you visited Switzerland-how did you like it?

@@fluriadventures We love Switzerland. have been over 10 times, easy to do when you have a free place to stay. Went last June, July after our daughter has returned to the US. Did our third motorcycle tour of the Alps. I am 74 and have been riding close to 60 years.

This is great! Love to hear that! My parents are also into motorbiking-they do it the other way around, heading to the States for their rides. :-)
