It was a bit of a challenge, not in the last place because of the extreme height. But the rewards were magnificent. What a view, what a landscape ❤

Goede dag ! Wonderful video including the beautful Hindi live audio track. By the way, I dont think they are groundhogs at 7:30 mark - they are probably Himalayan Marmots - a distant relative of the groundhogs. Dankje wel !

Nice vedio❤. I am from Ladakh and i didn't know about that road from Lamayuru to Zanskar ..
@rt159ts3 ай бұрын
There is a lot of road construction going on in the region. Not only this road.

Thank you! I did not know. They looked quite similar to groundhogs we encountered in Kirgisistan. But I am not an expert on animals.

Those are Himalayan Marmots it is a mammal like Groundhog but from a diffrent animal family. They are very friendly and if you don’t make any loud noises or sudden big moments they come to you they are naturally very curious. Just met one marmots family in June when I was coming back from Pangong.

Crazy how the algorithm suggested me your video, I dont know if you remember but we met you on this road, where we encountered the roadblock not allowing us any further along with the russians haha.

That's really crazy! So it shows how small our world is. Good to hear from you! 😊

Could you kindly share the route for the off-road track and how long is the route? Thanks, this is amazing as not many routes these days are dirt! Prit

Hoi ..Heb je Manali -Leh ook gereden ? Het was 15 jaar geleden een fantastische route.. Vooral dat laatste stukje
@rt159ts3 ай бұрын
Helaas zijn we die route niet, of in ieder geval slechts deels gereden. Het gebied is in zijn geheel prachtig om te rijden. Je ziet ook veel huur motorfietsen.

Amazing work. May I check how long it took you to ride Lamayuru to Padum? Planning the same route in reverse in June 2025
@rt159ts3 ай бұрын
Thanks! We took this route in 1 day. There are no gas stations or other facilities inbetween, so take everything you need with you. But it's an incredible ride!

I mainly use a Gopro for the moving shots. I have 2 of those to put on different locations on the bikes.

Great video but not fond of the music choice. You could have added Tibetan traditional musics.
@rt159ts3 ай бұрын
My next video will contain some local Tibetan music. It is not easy to find music without copyrights.
