Hello Abi. You are amazing and have helped me struggle through my early days of overlocking. I have a question, please. Do you know if the latest Overlocker accessories (which all have different model numbers) are compatible with the M343D? Having watched your video about the useful accessory feet, I have tried everywhere to buy any one of them with no success. I realize this machine is no longer current but I would have expected to find them available somewhere. Even the Brother UK site didn’t help. I would be very grateful if you get a chance to answer this. Pat

Hi Pat. All brother overlockers are the same and all feet are compatible with every model. So if you’re looking for feet you should be able to find them online. I bought generic feet at less than £5 from eBay but that was precovid time Good luck

One thing I'd love to know is when do you use 3 or even 2 threads on an overlocker and what for. I've only ever used 4 thread and done basic overlocking. If it’s a Brother, unfortunately this is a common problem due to the poorer quality of metal in the machine. It really just needs oiling inside. Have a look at how to open the machine. It’s really very easy x
