If you have albedo then you only need ainz and albedo to clear stage 4 on repeat. Ainz on tank, with spd so he can cycle his s3. It’s. 1:30min run for me.

Ainz isn't for RTA, but for specific battles in GW and Arena. Albedo is Ok, but she can't focus on one thing, either Damage dealer or a Tank.

His build is just too gimmicky to where it can easily be broken or just absolutely be useless and relegated to collecting dust. Some changes that I would love to see are 1: S3 can't be resisted and does not get removed upon Ainz's death. 2: He has a small self cleanse like hand guy so that at least if he can get 1 shotted by light units, he can't be easily controlled and you can still try to find a good bulk range for him. 3: Reduced damage buff from light units to 15-20% 4: S3 Death sentence get's transfer to another unit if the original unit dies before the sentence goes off and it has extinction I've also seen people defend no extinction due to "lore". Whether this is "lore" accurate or not he needs some of these changes and it's a game, fun comes first. If you're defending this bad of a character from this huge of a collab due to "lore" concerns and accuracy you can take your fedora and eat it. These changes are not broken in a day and age where you have ML landy, Sea politis, and ML Yufine. If you want lore accurate, Ainz being broken IS lore accurate.

cant be resisted, and gets transferred upon intial units death, also lower damage from light units he is already dark so he already takes more damage from light so it makes no sense to add an additonal 30 on top of a typing weakness already present, everything else you stated would just be too much, i also would love to see a greater attack buff on his s2 since it would be lore accurate as well and is flavorful

While I also look to quiztolin for math expertise, his formula doesn't factor in 3 things: 1) rift is closed. 2) side story is hugely gold positive, which isn't addressed by the post 3) you can guarantee speed set epic gear which has the highest speed potential in the game (also the gear the playerbase always complains about not having)

No reason to ever choose him over Shalltear when she does more and does it better with way less risk. She likely hits harder based on the preview and her 20% arti dmg. She inflicts injury on s1 with the same extra dmg SB, has double his hit chance, stealth, and built in atk buff without the huge flaws of using a non atk skill and extra turn. Not to mention Lifesteal built into her arti and a full strip on her s3 that can ignore eff res before the dmg happens. She's also 119 base spd. You should rarely get outsped by anything that isn't a dedicated opener.

@@Loserstakethebait She really isn't. Zahhak has a built in cleanse/attack up/push for him & an ally & he's the same speed as her. S3 makes him invincible (lightyears better than stealth), he has free stats & deals Injury on top. There's also no way that Shalltear will do more damage, Zahhak has a 1.9 atk rate & 1 pow, which is one of the strongest ST S3s in the game - the only characters who match or exceed are PVE or are never used, like Lilibet & Sez. Double his hit chance means nothing, you only need 50% chance & 20% from artifact to hit everything, 100% is overkill for literally every unit, it's a pointless statistic. Since she doesn't have guarenteed attack buff (since she's off stealth & if you hit her she doesn't get it), you'd have to set her up with someone else who'd also likely use a non-attack, so non-attack isn't a black mark against him. The only pro is that she gets a dispel - which means nothing since getting a dispel on a one-shot character wouldn't matter unless they have defence buff (which no one gets off-bat) or crit res - Zahhak hits through crit res. She's literally just a bad T Surin with an outdated one-shot that we don't even have numbers for yet. Eligos, EW Ludwig, Zahhak & LP Karin all do this job of hitting evasion targets & will do it better than Shalltear. T Surin, SE Celine, Gala Lilias, etc. all do "can only take x% damage better" & 10% Injury on S1 is nothing compared to real Injury characters. She's a hodge podge of mechanics that don't blend & I wouldn't be surprised if she gets buffed.

You're not gonna see Zahak in RTA once she releases because Shalltear is just objectively better. Zahak is hard countered by virtually every current meta unit in RTA. Shalltear can kill or deal with a majority of those same units.

It depends on what Gear do you Need the most and what type of play style you have. If you are a fast player (cleave/aggro) second week It's Way Better since has Speed crit and pen

For people just starting the game for overlord I'm ok with them starting with the best tank in the game and a mid-high tier DPS. Should give new players insight on how useful it is to have a good tank. Maybe then we'll have players who can learn the game turn 2 & not complain about not having speed.

Shalltear having dmg limit, life steal, stealth for defensive while having Self attack buff, injury and 100% buff remove before attacking. If her raw dmg is mediocre, she will have a place in RTA. Unlike her Lord and Nemesis whom they are just clowning in RTA with weird build to troll enemy.

Albedo is not karina nor ml landy she is basically a carmin with dmg and with the kit she have right now she will shine when the meta get back to aggro or slow tank. Don't build her with only tank stat becuz that just making her more passive, give her crit and you see a much better result than just standing there tanking

Since you're the one that opened up the conversation; Imma call you out on this: I think you're projecting a lot with this statement. Every E7 content creator don't want her buffed/lore accurate because if she's good in the way she is in overlord storyline she would make Epic Seven incredibly boring to play/watch at a high rank; just look at the IWantToEndLegend Meta. Furthermore while game devs of competitive games SHOULD listen to their community for feedback, it should never be an automatic response to unrest in the community. Just look at when stove was complaining about Arbiter Vildred being unplayable, how he should have 100% CR if he revives and you know what give him attack buff too. That was the first clear case of blatant power creep and all because the community wanted it and it opened up Pandora's box for all the broken shit we got since. So with that context in mind yes I'm happy they made 1 character extremely lore accurate while held back on the other for the benefit of the game. I care about the community but that does not mean I think Smilegate should let the community decide when buffs should happen because the last time they did; we got Arbiter Vildred and ARavi. I think if you actually played the goddamn game you wouldn't even want to open this discussion.

@@Valky You can't include the Arbiter Vildred buff as the games was still in its earlier stages when that happen (honestly if he didn't have the 100% CR push these days he would be even more of a dead unit lol), as for the A.Ravi buff that's fair she was an issue and that's valid. (Small side tangent but I also think injury is an issue as nothing interacts with it or cures it granted the HP reduction is needed because of some HP units but we have units that interact with it offensively and can even make your entire team cause it with needing the set, it's honestly time we got something for the other side of it.) There will always be power creep of ML Politis she doesn't shut off a single mechanic but she makes every character who uses any resources half disabled as many units lose large parts of their kits from it. She shouldn't give enrage to the entire team it just enables too much like Jenua one shotting just about everyone hwayoung style (which unfortunately is needed but should be self contained to his own kit not being able to be triggered by ML Politis) and ML Tywin with unstoppable stun and defence break being an example. In saying that I have no issues with those units on their own they have places in the game. I have been playing the game since the first GG Collab, which is longer then you have been making videos on this channel. Granted you could have been playing before then as was I so how about we don't go around throwing insults it just makes our arguments look weaker and us look stupid. Okay but they didn't make Albedo even a weaker version or lore accurate version... She is known for being incredibly Defensive, plus having high hp, being very high resistance to everything and being able to ignore super tier magic three times a day (granted I don't think the second half would really work or translate into E7 so it not being included is fair) but she's not even a defensive or resistant in E7 granted as I said I'd like her damage increased but I'd take so utility in her being able to do her thing better. They literally have stats spread sheets and everything for Overlord. While I'll agree you have more time and experience in emperor and up rank many of us don't as we aren't as lucky as you to be able to have that much spare time, money and gear that you have and while the higher ranked players opinions should matter balancing any game for the top 2% is just a great way to alienate the rest granted this is a gacha game more profits may come from that but there needs to be a balance between the hardcore and casual. And making a Collab unit which will attract a lot more casual players versus hardcore players is not good ( again not advocating for her to be game breaking just better) it will make newer players feel like it wasn't worth it. Which brings me back to the main point again with content yes she doesn't seem that bad to you but you guys have more time, money, effort and better gear to the point you guys can probably make anyone work to an acceptable point but the rest of us don't. I will apologise for the weird formatting and jumping between some points as I was typing this between things whilst working.
