I mean some of them knew to be honest . I really loved this scene , i really liked Unglaus , for Being Who he was till the end , Glad They sent Cocyutos and not an other Guardian . If he died by albedo in a Bad way i really would dropped this anime . I mean there IS good and Bad things in this anime , and i dont mean killing humans IS a Bad thing in this anime , i think for him (Ainz) It's a good thing that he kills humans for the safety of Nazarick and his purpose . But the fact that he seems like he dont give a Fuck about the "Background strategy" really pisses me off . ( (If ains really had an Evil intention , Or An ulterior motive that let him Take charge of the whole scene and not some fckin Luck that led him to this STADIUM !! Or Luck that all his Guardians thinks he knows everything) This anime would for sure be more interesting) . Cocytus is all about respect. He answered the challenge by stating his own name, he played out the fight like a duel, and he respected his opponent's conviction by drawing his strongest weapon and not holding back. Walking around the body at the end just made the whole scene. Especially with the music.

The reason the brain's body doesn't split is cause of the samurai's rule that it's not allowed to split the opponent's body, Warrior takemikazuci makes cocyutus have the nature of a samurai or a true warrior

Cocytus is level 100 and Brain, after the many buffs, managed to create an attack of level 40 and Yggdrasil's (the game) had a mechanic that prevented players from level 100 to recieve damage from levels 60 and below. Cocytus however noted that he reached level 40 which is the level cap of humans in the New World. Yes humans in the New World have a level cap of 40 so no human there would ever be as strong as a human player from Yggdrasil, unless they are a godkin, meaning someone who is a descendant of a player of Yggdrasil that was transported to New World, in that case they can go beyond.

Brain's last Martial Art, True Nail Clipper is a combination of Field, God Flash, and Sixfold Slash of Light. Notable part is he could give the central focus points of the sixfold slash. (Look at the swirl of the lights where all the slashs meet all at one point.That is one of differences from the sixfold of Gazef.. Level 40 probably highest as human in the story...

her class may have helped but Lakyus is somewhere around lvl 30-35 making her one of the strongest human character in the series only pasted by a handful of others

@@Gacha-Ritual-Master i think you are right that its mainly due to her class but Lakyus is able to use tier 5 magic which should make her lvl 29 minimum since thats the theshold for tier 5 and since tier 6 is lvl 36 that where i get that 30-35 range so while Gazeff was the strongest pure warrior Lakyus may be a high level

This isn't Dragon Ball where having a higher power level is the only thing that matters. You're essentially comparing a mage and a cleric. Evileye is far more powerful in terms of offense. Lakyus is more of a defensive/support type. Thinking that Lakyus is "stronger" just because it took some effort to subdue her without killing her or causing too much damage makes no sense, especially since you're comparing apples and oranges.

He didn't get to actually damage Cocytus. However, if we look back as his fight with the Lizardman, none of them could so much as scratch Cocytus barriers. Meanwhile, Brain outright broke through them, which is NO small feat. Cocytus himself said in his previous fight with the Lizardmen that it would take a lot for his barriers to break. Even the Ice Sword Zaryusu Shasha had was useless, even tough it was considered one of New World's best weapons. Yet Brain didn't need something like that to actually reach Cocytus. Only his raw skill. It is for that reason, along with his resolve as a true wrarrior, that Cocytus gained respect for Brain and acknowledged his strength, even tough he was a human.

It might seem funny and strange. But the term was coined because it was an upgraded version of the skill that he used to cut off Shalltear's nail. It's a technique, that can definitely cut a nail of a lvl100 vampire raid boss that specializes in Tanking.

A lot of the settings and lore of the Overlord worldbuilding have been missing in the anime, it is definitely one of my favourite part of the LN, to understand all the details of the world the author has set up. The anime has to rush through so many content and it is hard to retain a lot of the details the LN offers in such a short amount of time. Will wholeheartedly recommending the LN in addition to the anime tbh.

Nobody even noticed that brain used martial arts. He never use martial arts because he can't. But right there in his last stand, he surpassed his limits, in my opinion, moments before his death, brain surpassed Remedios and Gazef. He became the strongest warrior. Massive respect for the dude, even cocytus preserved his body for possible resurrection in the future.

The anime ruined the Brain fighting scene by not focusing on the importance of his body falling apart as he boost himself. Doing so would have highlighted the progress Brain made from season 1 to now.

Well to be fair, you do see his eye's blood vessel's from the sheer force of his boosts as well as blood from his mouth and nose. From that alone, I was able to tell that Brain's body couldn't handle the ability boosts from tier spells, which we know were 3 bottles he drank as he doesn't have any martial arts like most others. So while they could've made it look a lot better than this, one can still see the damage he received from the 2 spells he activated.

We actually expect the adaption to be better than the books but in anime it seems to be the opposite and everyone will be okay with it... That's not how we respect authors hard work in my belief. They already rushed everything in this season I expect this fight to atleast be 50 percent as good as the novel but it failed again . It should of been really intense but ended kind of lame. Well not as disappointing as Philips events which they literally skipped the main point of this arc lol

A fool death. He wasted Gazef's sacrifice. In season 3, Gazef fights against Ainz and tried to get info about Ainz, but in the end the info that Gazef got, Brain didnt use it at all

It's not a manga and a lot of stuff have changed in the story. The point is following a bunch of OP characters slowly taking over the world by politics/trickeries most of the time and strength otherwise. It's actually very good, you just seem to expect stuff that have no reason to be in this kind of story.
