After seeing how the final battle played out I was genuinely surprised at the twist and loved the voice that played during the battle talking about how the old overlord corrupted the heroes and how "the good don't know how close to evil they really are." An amazing ending to a great game

I was shocked to see the Minions betray me like that but I was relieved to see that some were still Loyal to the 3rd Overlord. And I thought the Minions were going though a Civil War because of there being 2 Overlords and the remaining minions had to pick sides to see who will be the there Overlord. I love the series.

I know that in terms of gameplay he probably got killed, but I like to think that the one Brown that reveals some are still loyal was one of the first ones from the intro. A bookends to the story, and to make it an even more amazingly heartwarming moment for a game about being a discount Darth Vader/Sauron knockoff, but Overlord's charm was not focusing so much on that so much as a certain absurd with and putting more on the minions.

It was great, but battle mechanics of Old Overlord could be better. His minions were so weak, his abilities were so easy to dodge that battle was too easy. Only music and his taunts made it epic.

Well, I struggled, mostly cause I had few minions when I got there. I had to call them to retreat before the Old Overlord attacked so I didn't lose them all.

VORP A being of Light Actually those taunts were how he corrupted the other heroes, who I feel sorry for. Those heroes were all tricked into terrible sins, but were freed by the almighty overlord. I feel sympathy for the wizard and Oberon the most, The wizard lost his body to the second overlord and lost his soul while Oberon who tortured by the fact he abandoned the 8th hero to death, now has destroyed his forest and people (Poor Oberon, he goes through so much guilt).

Something I like about this track is the way it finally hits you in the face with that main riff. You've been hearing it all game, sure, but only in bits and pieces. Slowed down, only partially played, or in the background of another melody. If's familiar and your recognize it. But it's not until here, the climax of the story and final boss, that they put the full riff right at the front of the mix. And rightly so, this is the theme of the Overlord.

I got this game when I was 9 and it was really hard for me and it took me about 2 months to finally get to the old overlord fight and I kept on dying and I was fighting him for so long my Xbox got the red ring of death from over heating and I was never able to finish it

l was good enough to beat the old overlord first try, but Kahn whooped my ass so god damn much, l was dumb enough to start the fight only having like 20 of each minion with the exception of browns, which l had like 1000 of. It was a long, painful fight

I went in with a fully upgraded arcanium mace and had about a hundred of each minion at the tower, all armored and armed. That's probably why I saw it as easy.

I like to think that if the old overlord wanted to get rid of the new one, it was because it was starting to get overtaken and that sooner or later it would get destroyed.
