This might look familiar to some. I released this back in June, but it was longer, and I wasn't happy with parts of my dialog. So, I re-edited and hope it's more enjoyable! Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see in a future video! Thanks for watching!

I struggled with the problem of self confidence myself when I was younger. Now as an aging person I look back on opportunities that I missed that I could have easily handled. My advice to you is to push your limits, you may surprise yourself. Another thing is count your blessings, think about the things and conveniences you have that say you great grandparents didn’t have. To get heat and light we flip a switch and didn’t have to cut firewood all day like our ancestors did. Your trips into nature are probably the best therapy you can get. Godspeed.

I agree. There is nothing like getting back to nature and enjoying the simple things! Thanks for your kind words.

I like you, Nate and we have at least two things in common: The way of camping, you showed in the video and the feeling of inadequacy. I absolutely love, that you are wearing jeans and a tshirt and not expensive outdoor-pants. It reminds me, that I don´t need a lot of stuff to do what you do. Thanks a lot!

Rad, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've got more on the way. I hope you stick around ✌️

It certainly doesn't require expensive equipment to have a good night out. I think my most expensive item used would be my tarp (besides my backpack, which is 20 years old).

I am also a small time KZbinr who struggles with a lot of the same things that you do. You are definitely good enough. You got a subscription and’s a thumbs up from me. Keep doing what you do brother. ❤

I'm commenting to say that you glossed over the star of the show. The bed breaking at 4am deserved to be the focus of the video and feature on the thumbnail. I found this video searching for extreme winter camping. All the other camping youtubers would have made a meal out of garbage bag bed breaking as you camped. Anyway I began to watch the video assuming you had tens of thousands of subscribers, this means you have potential! Keep at it and focus the videos tighter on the interesting or unusual bits.

@HereBoxBe thank you! I really appreciate that! I'm still figuring this thing out, so I am grateful for the feedback. I included the bed break in my intro, but I see what you mean. I wasn't sure how to highlight that moment more. I tell ya, it did scare the crap outta me! Lol. I thought a bear hit me until I realized I was laying on an angle. ✌️

Looks like a great spot! Do you know what the max weight is for using the garbage bags? And where do you source them? As for music vs no music, I personally prefer to hear the sounds of nature or what is going on in the vid vs music.
@adventureswithnate4 ай бұрын
@@kmoartyyc Thanks for watching! I have no idea what the maximum weight would be? I know that they are at least stronger than the wood pole I used on the one side! 😅 These garbage bags can be found at any hardware store. I appreciate the response 🙏

@@adventureswithnate Hahah I commented prior to the collapse. That would've been a rude awakening! Thanks also for opening up, as we do we come to realize so many people feel the same way.
