Great video; really nicely produced. My eldest daughter and I are doing the same trip this week; my first time camping out of a rucksack since I left the army in 1985. I figured it was an easy intro trip for her and me. We will be hammock camping so hopefully we can find some trees. I'll subscribe and catch some of your other videos.

I hope your trip went well. Hopefully you didn’t have to deal with rain since there has been so much around lately.

@@travelwithmick you can see the trip on my KZbin channel. Poured down and the climb out with a pack on sucked. I didn't envisage such a rough trail to be honest. But once set up we kept dry and were very happy.

Is that a water dragon in the tree above the water?? That beer looked great & definitely well earned after that hike!

There were a couple of massive water dragons just chilling in the trees. The extra weight carrying the beer in is always worth it

It was a fun hike. You will just have to come back to Australia when the borders open!

I loved the video. I'm interested to know what your ultralight camp stove is called?
@travelwithmick2 жыл бұрын
This stove is just from Aldi. There is a similar one called the Furno 360 Degrees stove and cook pot

What is the name of the camp ground? Is it a fairly easy track? I’m considering going with my son for the first time so wants something easy. Live in the shire so the location seems perfect

Do some research on the Bullawaring Track. Start and end at Heathcote or Waterfall. Two camp sites. Kingfisher Pool and Mirang Pool. You will need to book a campsite through National Parks. The track can be hard to follow in parts and overgrown in sections
