The stones are heated and then they warm the room after the fire is completely out. I don't think this volume of stones will really help much, but it's better than nothing.

Highly technical climbing, an incredibly chill and fearless attitude, an apt reverence for the mountains and natures creatures, plus every video comes with a cooking segment! You even remind us all to brush our teeth! Love the subtitles - they really add a fun touch to read how you spell out your exclamations. Your navigation skills are amazing, I assume you check your route/position via some version of gps? Be great to see how you do that. Thanks for being so humble, too many KZbinrs are way too focused on sponsors and all. Thank you so much Andraz.

Exactly! Don't let yourself be stressed because you think your viewers demand more. Take your time! That stove needs at least 2 meters more stovepipe outside. It isn’t drafting well at all. Hence the smoke. Love your videos. As a 4th generation Montanan of Slavic descent, my constant desire to get into the mountains now makes complete sense! Keep up the great work!
@ElementofKindnessКүн бұрын
There probably was more stovepipe at one point, but was lost to the winds. I wonder if he checked around to see if it is stored inside, like under one of the beds?
@GregStachowskiКүн бұрын
The smoke and lack of good draft make me concerned about carbon monoxide buildup.

And a tube of stove cement would seal up the top of the stove better
@andrazegart19 сағат бұрын
You’re right, but as long as there are so many holes in the stove, I don’t think a longer pipe would help enough for it to work properly 😅 Hahah makes sense, the slavic urge to climb a mountain is real! Thank you & have a great day 😀

For those times you want to bring your own firewood on a hike you may want to look into getting some compressed sawdust bricks. There is nothing added to them they are just normal sawdust that has been compressed with a lot of pressure into a brick. It should pack small and they are supposed to burn longer than normal logs. It’s worth looking into for you.
