Casa en el Agua is a hostel located 15 miles from shore near Cartagena Colombia. I went here and it was one of the most unique stays I've ever experienced.

Thank ya! Usually in hostels there are lockers you can use to keep gear safe. They didn't have that here but I wasn't too worried because we were on a tiny little island with nowhere to go until the boat takes us all back. If anyone stole something, it would be super easy to figure out who took it haha

1/16/2023 There is an excellent interview (website is called something similar to 'LAD or UniLAD') of a woman who was abandoned in the jungle of Columbia (kidnapped, etc.) at about age three. She survived (3 to 7, then barely escaped a common brothel) because a family of monkeys adopted her as one of their own!!! She went back to try to visit them many decades later but they were all gone. They were probably sold to medical labs all over the USA to test on every drug, including biological weapons. Frank Zappa's father supposedly worked in one of these labs (about 300 all over the USA, should all be shut down!!!). There is an ugly drive for profit in torturing monkeys in medical labs on college campuses. Even though EVERYBODY knows that smoking causes cancer, they still test nicotine on monkeys because staff at colleges know how to get money from the federal government no matter what idiot project they design, the money flows, the torture flows. Please speak out against the unnecessary torture of lab animals; computer simulations are much more accurate; monkeys react differently than humans to all drugs, etc.) Learn more at PETA and Paul McCartney 'if slaughter houses had glass walls.' Same topic, interesting 'Lee and Me' by Judith Vary Baker, they both were testing assasination cancer drugs on monkeys in New Orleans, meant for Castro, then meant for JFK. The book 'Dr. Mary's Monkey' is about the author's aunt (best friend of his father, they were both doctors) her murder was covered up because she knew too much about Polio vaccines that were ruined by monkeys with cancer genes.
