I don't know if there is more, but I saw ya'll did make mistakes with the oujia board and here I'll give you what I found: THE MAIN THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. The ouija board is not a toy. It needs to be taken seriously and respectfully. 2. The oujia board works through your energy. So, if you believe the ouija board is evil, you will only attract evil spirits. If you don't believe it works, it won't. If you stay positive and see the ouija board as a way to communicate with spirits, �most likely you will only attract good spirits. Your beliefs and feelings will decide the results you'll get. 3. Never do it alone. You'd be more prone to possession if you do. 4. Never do it under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 5. Always respect it and the spirits you talk to. 6. NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take your fingers off the planchette (the thing that moves on the board and spells things) until you move it to 'goodbye' I will explain why later. 7. ALWAYS move the planchette to 'goodbye' when you're done talking to a spirit or finished using the board. PRECAUTIONS/PROTECTION/STARTING: 1. Light a white candle for each person that is using it. 2. Before you even start using it, you must say a protection prayer. You need to hold hands with the people you are using it with, and close your eyes. This is very important: Picture an extremely bright white light surrounding you and everyone that is involved. This will protect you and prevent bad spirits from harming you. You can pray whatever you want, but make sure you ask to be protected. Make sure you ask to only contact good spirits and that you will not tolerate any evil spirits contacting you. 3. Placing a silver coin on the board will protect you and prevent evil spirits from escaping the board. 4. Oujia boards can be made with anything. Cardboard, a poster, notebook paper, anything. But you MUST include the following: -Letters A-Z -Numbers 0-9 -The words 'yes', 'no', and 'goodbye' There are two ways to write the letters and numbers. -Straight across the board in two rows -In a circle. Writing the letters in a circle is a form of protection and prevents spirits from leaving the board. TO START/OPENING THE BOARD: 1. Have everyone who is using it put one or two fingers on the planchette. Move the planchette in a circle a few times to warm up the board. Then ask "Is there any good spirits that would like to talk?" Wait a few minutes for a response. If there is a spirit that wants to talk, they will move the planchette. Be patient. Usually you might not get an answer the first few times you try. Remember: If you don't believe it will work, it won't. If you don't get an answer, try again. 2. Elect ONE person to ask the questions. If more than one person asks questions, the spirit might get confused. Have another person who is not using the board to write down the questions and answers. 3. The first question you should ask is "Are you a good spirit?" If they say no, immediately move the planchette to 'goodbye'. THINGS YOU MUST NEVER DO: 1. Never ask the spirit to prove they are there. For example, don't ask them to move or touch anything in the room you're in. If you ask them to do that, you are inviting them to leave the board and enter your house. 2. Never ask the spirit how they died. Some spirits don't know they are dead. Asking them can piss them off. 3. Never make disrespectful jokes. 4. Never ask them sexual questions. For example, "How big is your thingy?" 5. Never use the ouija board while under the influence. Intoxicated (alcohol) or high (drugs). 6. Try not to smoke cigarettes or blow out the candles until you are done using the board. The smoke from cigarettes or candles can effect the energy. 7. Never ask the spirits how you're going to die or anything about your future. They are not psychic. They can also lie. Spirits are like people, only invisible. 8. For some reason and I don't know why, Never ask the spirits where gold is buried or about any secrets of the world. 9. NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE take your fingers off the planchette. The reason is because if you do, the spirits can control it better, and if they move the planchette off the board, that means they have escaped the board and now are in your house. No matter how scared you get, do not move your damn fingers off that planchette. People make that mistake so much. If you feel scared or like you are in danger, immediately move the planchette to 'goodbye' and flip the board over. 10. Never leave the room when you're done using the board without moving the planchette to 'goodbye' and flipping the board over. 11. NEVER EVER use the ouija board in a graveyard or a place where you know extremely bad things have happened. Doing this will lead to attracting more spirits than you want, and possibly bad things will happen to you. 12. Never light up an insane amount of candles. Lighting candles (besides the white protection ones) is used to attract spirits. If you light up too many, you will attract too many spirits. SIGNS YOU ARE DEALING WITH AN EVIL SPIRIT AND SIGNS THAT A SPIRIT IS TRYING TO ESCAPE THE BOARD INTO YOUR HOUSE: 1. They curse or make perverted comments. 2. If the planchette moves in a figure 8, you are dealing with a very powerful evil spirit. 3. If the planchette moves either fowards or backwards through the letters or numbers, that means a spirit is trying to escape. 4. If the planchette moves to all four corners, a spirit is trying to escape. 5. If the planchette moves off the board during a session, a spirit has definitely just escaped. Which is why you should never take your fingers off the planchette unless you have already moved it to 'goodbye' *If any of these things start to happen, move the planchette to 'goodbye'. GOOD THINGS TO DO AND THAT YOU SHOULD DO: 1. Always respect the spirit. 2. Thank each spirit for talking to you. 3. When you move the planchette to 'goodbye' it is also good to say the word 'goodbye' at the same time. 4. Write down the questions you want to ask before you start. COMMUNICATING WITH A DECEASED LOVED ONE: 1. Like I said, spirits can lie. So you can't always believe they are who they say they are. 2. Adding an item that has meaning to the person you're trying to communicate with can increase your chances of contacting them. (a necklace, a ribbon, a piece of clothing, etc) Something they had a close bond with or really loved. Also if you make your own board, you may draw certain pictures that has meaning to the person you're trying to talk to. For example, if they loved dogs. Draw a dog. But it can't just be something they liked. It has to have a big meaning. 3. Ask the spirit who you believe is your loved one certain questions that only they would know to confirm they are who they say they are. CLOSING THE BOARD/ENDING THE SESSION: 1. �When you are done talking to each spirit, move the planchette to 'goodbye'. 2. When you are completely done using the board for the day, after you move the planchette to 'goodbye', flip the board over, blow out all the candles, and leave the room for a while. GETTING RID OF THE BOARD/PROPERLY DISPOSING OF IT: 1. NEVER EVER EVER BURN THE BOARD. If you try to dispose of the board by burning it, you will hear a blood curling scream. After that, you will be cursed. 2. THE ONLY PROPER WAY TO DISPOSE OF THE BOARD: - Sprinkle your hands with holy water. - Cut or rip the board into several pieces. If you use scissors, make sure to sprinkle them with holy water first. - After you cut or ripped the board in several pieces, sprinkle all the pieces with holy water and then bury them. You should bury them somewhere away from your house, but I don't think it's necessary. Just to be safe. WARNINGS ABOUT THE USE OF IT: 1. Addiction/Obsession: - Some people become attached to the board. They feel like they have to use it. They rely on it and become obsessed with it. If you feel like you need to use it all the time, I suggest getting rid of it. You will know you are getting addicted or obsessed is if you can't stop thinking about it and feel the need to keep using it, everyday. Plz stay safe guys

Omg! I know this is unrelated but thank you so much for saying this! They keep making the same mistakes and disrespecting the board and they don't seem to care that much.
