I was really keen to stay overnight in Khao Sok National Park so decided to join the Coco Hostel 2 day tour and it was BRILLIANT. Especially as a solo traveller, I met great people to travel with and everything was so beautiful and well organised. We stayed in overwater bungalows, went hiking through a cave tunnel, went kayaking, swimming in the lake, sunset and sunrise boat tours, all food included as well.

Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

This is so amazing, I've been overthinking traveling to Thailand by myself but I've been kinda scared since I wanna travel with all my camera gear. But watching this video and seeing how safe and secure you look going around makes me even wanna move there. This looks like such a fun crew of friends you made on this journey. I hope you're able to explore with them in the future. Hostel friends are down for so many fun adventures in my experience. I love the reversible bathing suit! I think I would be sold if there were holes cut out of the sides. That newish style is my favorite right now, and I love an excuse to show off all my tattoos during tattoo season. That style plus those designs would be the cutest ever. Glad to know you're still continuing on with your backpacking in Thailand (I thought you left after the breakup). I never knew Khao Sok had a lake, all this time I thought it was a seaside national park! 🤭😂 And how amazing the place is (I can't do that narrow cave tour though)! You are so friendly with everybody and you just mingle up very quickly that super nice and where ever you go you just want first want to make new friends and want to go with them and explore the places with them that is super nice. Yeah that is a great thing. Somebody do not want to be friends and they live in their own world that is not good and even if we say hello to them they ignore. This happened to me when I visited Dubai.

13-15 April will have Songkran festival in Thailand(every provinces) , the most fun water festival, and 19 April at Pattaya, hope you can join the festival 💦 Every year will have this festival, but not have for covid 19 lock down last 2-3 years ago, but this year will fully again, I am waiting the festival every year, since I am a child

Definitely one of the more amazing places in Thailand. It's nice to relive it (December 2021) thru your video. We stayed in different floating huts but very similar. Didn't do the hike but did some MTBing around the park the day before. It's all pretty majestical. p.s. Loving the Sydney weather? 😤😐

Thoroughly enjoyed this. This type of tour would be right up my street, and it seemed like such good value for money too with all those inclusions. The hike seemed really cool, any hikes with unique twists such as needing to swim through a cave is just all kinds of epic!

monkeys absolutely do swim! I saw a family of monkeys once, in Bali, having fun jumping into the water from a small cliff, swimming around and going back to the cliff to jump some more!

You are spot on with all the things I love to do when traveling and your are careful about your spending, too! I'll be traveling Thailand for a month in February of next year. I've been to Thailand four times before, but I've never been to Bangkok. If you love the islands, I've been told to skip Bangkok. Thoughts? Also, because I only have one month there, is it realistic to see and have QUALITY time in the following islands: Phuket, Koh Tao, Khao Sok National Park, Koh Lipe and Koh Lanta? If I have to eliminate one of these, which one would you suggest? I've been to Phuket and Koh Lanta before. Will only fly into Phuket and only spend quarantine time there. You don’t have to swim very far! Perhaps only 5 metres where you can’t touch the ground. There is also the option to stay chilling at the bungalows instead of going on the hike
