@lukesigmon9601 Yes, this is very true. But standing trees seem to always be more active, even when dead. Both will still have possible wasps, hornets, etc. But fallen trees are for sure dead, and not possibly still alive. Just a rule of nature. Because you never TRULY know if a tree is still partially alive.
