Great ti-pi tent that your dad loaned to you. Ventilation is good as sugar can melt if it gets too hot. Neat candles. Yes it will grow on you. So that means you need to get one for yourself. You said sauna, yep. Super outstanding video Becky. The weather will clear soon so you can do more very interesting videos like this one. Thank you and have a super wonderful day.

The Nordic Tentipi canvas tent is one of the nicest tents going. I only camp in canvas tents anymore. Like them heaps better than synthetics. Nothing against synthetics tho. 👍 Tent stoves are much safer in canvas too. Gstove my choice there. 👍 Great vid.

Lots of room to move around in. The candle light would be the big selling point to me. I think it would great tent for a lovely couple to enjoy. Careful about sleeping in beds and cots they will spoil you. I know because i bought a 4lb take down cot for hiking trips.

It is camping equipment by a completely different standard, top luxury all the way through, and the wood burner looks like one that could run all night without refill, if it gets filled up and the air valve is closed, it looks big enough for it. Like this tipi that ends on the ground so no cold air comes in, the whole family could hold bushcraft Christmas Eve in that tipi, it was something brand new on KZbin . Didn't you hear Mr. Bushwacker barking a little at the end of the video, the good old daddy noises more in a minute than Buster does all day. 😁

Very cool Becky! Would love to see a setup video for this. You should figure out a way to rig up a tarp over the entry way so you can leave the door open when it’s raining. Take care :)
@GirlOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Steve, yeah that would be a good idea. The tent does come with a porch for extra money but think it would be a lot cheaper to use the tarp aha
@gaz04635 жыл бұрын
My best mate had a tent just like that however he chose to spend the least amount of money he possibly could. Your tent is made from a high quality thick waterproof canvas which is fantastic. His tent was made of similar material as the tents you buy for £10 when you go to a festival only his was thinner and not really waterproof.... At all. You could probably read a newspaper through it! During the night I could hear him swearing and so I asked if he was ok. When I saw what had happened I was laughing so much I thought I was going to suffocate. It was absolutely chucking down. The central pole fits into the middle top of the tent and holds the whole tent up and at about 3am the material around the pole disintegrated and the whole tent collapsed on top of him. I don’t know what I found more funny, the fact he was woken up with his wet leaking tent on top of him or watching him trying to find the exit in the dark! We managed to get his damp sleeping bag and he slept in my better, dryer and warmer tent. He has a habit of buying really cheap kit thinking he’s saving money but, on a serious note, if he was on a long trip or an expedition he could end up in trouble or worse! It was really funny though.
@GirlOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Haha that sounds like a nightmare, must of been really funny! Wouldnt be a fan of staying in that for a long time in the rain aha. Take care Gaz :)

Hello Becky, thank you for sharing this video. I see that you now have a Winnerwell Woodlander M stove in your bell tent. I've just bought the Safir 7 tent and am trying to decide which woodburner to run with it. The Endfell seems purpose built for Tentipi tents, but it's very expensive and lacks the versatility of the Winnerwell. Have you used your Winnerwell stove with a Safari 7 tent? I think I would need to purchase additional pipe sections to safely clear the top of the tent and I'm trying to work out how many - it's either 3 or 4. I don't think anyone has done a detailed review of the Winnerwell Woodlander used with a Tentip Safari 7 as yet, so there's a niche for you there if you fancy it!

Fantastic tent and wood burner. I'm not even joking when I say this but iv been really thinking about getting a long term living tent to live in because I'm paying £400 rent for a 1 bedroom flat and I'm always skint I work full time yet I'm always on my tush iv been looking at other ways to live comfortably I think something like this is a real good idea I'd just have to find a working way of keeping clean washing and clothes etc and a way of keeping my tent safe while I'm at work. It's really tempting lol

OMG ! The Eldfell heater is definitly too big for a Tentipi size 7 - on a full load it is glowing cherry-red. That is a heat beast for size 9 or 15 tents. I've got a Safir 5 and use a Winnerwell Nomad M stove. But I turned the chimney cap 180° , to keep the area of the door free. In my opinion these tents are the best money can buy.
@RustyKnorr10 ай бұрын
Not too big at all, it was designed for the size 7-15. I use it in my 7, it’s fantastic. All stoves glow on camera at night. I just damp it down and don’t load it up, it only needs one log to keep the tent warm. Fantastic stove!!!
