Not necessarily. If 1 is the #1 seed and the other is the #5 seed… all it would take is for one of the other wild card teams to pull off an upset and the 1 seed would play them in the divisional round. If Minnesota is the 1 seed, I think it’s more likely they’d meet in the divisional round.

If the Bengals and Dolphins qualify for the playoffs and have the same record, but *aren't division champs* in their respective divisions, the Dolphins will be the #6 or #7 seed. The tiebreaker favors the Bengals.

If any late round rookie QB has a chance to start in the superbowl, it's Purdy. He played quite well yesterday and only had a couple plays where he looked like an actual rookie.
