hey homie you should look sound synthesis. all synthesizers pretty much work the same they just look different but every synth has the same basic functions. and i honestly i would save up and get serum. totally worth it. but don't get confused. a lot of these tools do the same basic functions but different synths offer different features. just understand the basics and youll be able to apply what hes doing to the tools you have available to you! I think it's better to EQ out the low mud from sounds after OTT rather than before. Otherwise the OTT will bring back part of that same mud again.

cool vibe. setting the lfo tool's envelope in hz might help a bit with precision if you don't wanna adjust the curve anymore, but i personally like temposync more, cause i always wanna check how a song would sound at a different tempo at some point and often find myself having to change sidechain-lengths and the lengths of the percussive main instruments then. but it also requires building the entire drumset in a way that sorta dynamically reacts to tempo changes and admittedly no one's ever casually going to do that properly

I believe the multiband comp in Serum is based off or designed to be exactly like the OTT as the OTT plugin itself is based off of the Ableton OTT preset 👍

I just made a new track and I figured there's no better time to learn chops than now. Any tips? Aditya Ramesh use any accapella or phrase (reverse it and pitch up if you want to),chop it up in bars/ 1/2 bars and rearrange the parts. use distortion, ott and other basic fx to make them fit (delay, reverb an eq). for more creative stuff you can record the chops and then reverse/repeat the whole process as often as you would like to. if you don‘t have vocals you can get some good stuff on loopmasters. hope it helps :)

Try grabbing a corner and dragging it, if the plugin doesn't support that you might try looking for a resizing option in your DAW. Im not aware of one in ableton tho. Also increase your screen resolution
