After you pass both parts of ORE , you will need to do PVLE training which is sponsored by various clinics.

This depends on 2 things :- 1) Luck - if you can get the booking for the exam. Since due to covid ORE has not been held for the past 2 years and there is no update as to when it will be resumed. 2) Ability - Your ability to study and absorb knowledge as well as skills to perform tasks on manikin. On an average students may at least take 2 years to pass these exams.

Mam, i am student of B.S Dental. Our course subjects are exactly similar to that of BDS and our university also issue us a certificate of dental therapists. Our degree name is dental technology. Can we work as dental therapist in UK and what would be requirements for that?

I am not sure if this course. By the name , I thought its related to dental technician. But as you say that you have a certificate of dental therapist, I advice you to fill the 'route to registration' form on the gdc website. This will lead you to DCP performa. Here you may select either dental technician , dental therapist or both. Once you submit this , you will receive the application pack. Kindly go through the learning outcome forms for both roles. Try to refer simultaneously with your dental qualification syllabus book. You will understand whether your degree is able to answer the questions asked for technician / therapist. Based on this you can continue to complete the whole application and do some relevant CPD courses if required. Good luck 👍

It depends on your individual circumstances , visa status and career pathway. If you are keen to practice as a dentist and you are able to get the booking for ORE - go for it. If you have a UK dependent visa and you can arrange the paperwork for DCP application , then apply for the hygienist / therapist role.

English language proof is a must. IELTS is an easy way to satisfy this requirement

No , you need to be having at least 1600 hrs of clinical work experience. And this can be easily achieved, as you could include internship hours as well

Depending upon from where you undertake the training courses it varies.... There are lot of tutors who provide courses for osces , dtp , manikin and medical emergencies. It also depends on you, weather you think you will need courses for each of the above mentioned areas or just for one of them. Regarding dental material and equipment - Price varies if you are buying a new set or second hand. This also depends on how much practice you require to do before you appear for the exam. Some people need to work on manikin for longer and therefore need to purchase more of artificial teeth.

No, you need to pass all the parts to be eligible to register as dentist and only then start work.
