We call them barrio or barangay. If it's a smaller division of the barrio, it's called siri. Our town is known as lungsod and the city is ciudad mostlty the big ones. The province is provincia or lalawigan.

I love this video, I remember when I was still in Cebu . That is a very humble way of life, they live like that but they are happy, away from the morning rat race in the freeway, work everyday to pay for bills. But that kind of life is the best, the only thing is the weather is very hot, except December and January.

I have a Canadian bank debit card and it work fine in the PI. For me , BDO banks ATM were usually the one that always work. The others local banks were touch and go. were often the reason given. I always carry a few USD bills with me in case of emergency.
