Last year David Starr went up against nxt star Jordan devlin and this year he’s going up against AEW star Jon moxley That’s the closest we could get for a physical connection between both promotions apart from AEW star Britt baker showing up at nxt war games 2019

It's all fun and laughs because AEW likes playing good guy, but make no mistake. AEW is a big company owned by a billonaire where one his VP's (Cody) has gone on record to openly be againts unions. For all intents and purposes, Starr is blackballed from there just as much he is from WWE.

Unions as a whole are a double edged sword, it makes it difficult for wrestlers negotiate their contracts and get more money it might help the lower tier talent in the beginning but the only people who benefit in the long run is the Union leaders themselves.

Shit when I worked with a company who did a wrestling event and most if not all the wrestlers self employ as a business so they can file taxes and get on medicaid and social security at the end of their careers. That's why alot of more experienced and older wrestlers were against unionizing, it's a tactic to make money and underpay young and journeymen wrestlers to make money. If you don't do any of that you're a fucking idiot and in the minority.
