IMO they are being fair with Steve and giving him more tape for when he transfers. Next season is Kenny or Carr

Nit picking here. But ND's backup D have given up TDs consistently. Imagine how good this scoring D would be if the backups on D had made a few stops late in games. That last Army drive ate up close to 10 minutes!

Nit picking here. In addition to the turn over on downs inside the 5, the play calling and execution at the end of the first half was puzzling. With two TOs the ND O could've gotten inside the five and gone for a TD. ND can't count on its kickers so be aggressive!

Nobody is talking about the big ten because not one has played any rank teams outside of the big ten so but no one is talking about who's Ohio state has played

I thought i heard 28-13 as the projection. Huh? Prister, what say you?

Prister has been way off at times when projecting other teams ability to compete against ND.

As always, one of the few balanced and honest reviews in and out of ND media, although... yeah maybe you were letting yourselves get a little bit ahead of yourselves. And sure, USC has talent, in fact ended up winning against UCLA, and generally is not a bad talent pool. They HAVE been playing poorly, and some of that at least is that Riley is overrated, always was, and unlike Freeman, doesn't have the luxury of assistants in the same universe of talent. It is also true that pure mercenary talent that is a poor fit is...a poor fit, and isn't going to play like true partisans. I don't think USC will win next Saturday, and I am hoping it won't be close. Not because I don't think ND isn't the better team (by a lot) and better coached (by a lot), but because I need to win a bet against my buddy who thinks that our historical struggles at The Colisseum is a real phenomenon that could effect our athletes who don't know the Collisseum in any sort of experiential sort of way. I don't think it will, and most of our most important players are either Sophmores or transfers (who have never played there), and therefor shouldn't consider it any more daunting than playing at A&M - and indeed, considerably less. Great cast, and Go Irish!
