Full disclosure.... Going into this season and 3/4 into it, I was all but keeping Killian Hayes here in the "D", especially seeing go many of games with paltry results. In one game or two, he posted up a donut in the scoring column. Also note, I'm no casual fan and I had the blessing to attend several Pistons home games! That said, with only a handful of games left in this season. I'm willing to keep this young man (who reminds me of Joe Dumars, in many respects..ie..his build, defensive play, humility and his strong family support). This young man has seemingly found his stride and self confidence in his game. Perhaps it's due to finally getting his legs in the NBA and learning the intricacies of the game?! Nevertheless, I feel that it's important to let the Coach, the team and his family know that the Detroit Fan base is coming around to finally see the player they all knew he would eventually blossom to be. I was very harsh on his game early on but Mr. Killian Hayes has made me a believer while serving me a plate of crow in the process...lol Congratulations are in order for Killian Hayes for enduring this journey like a good soldier all while proving the critiques (and myself) wrong! Much success and blessings going forward into the off season and coming back this fall with a vengeance! You and Cade Cunningham are destined for great things in the Detroit as our backcourt dual. Please accept my apologies, and If by chance, I happen to meet you, I'll be sure to express my gratitude (along with my kids) to you on your awesome progression in the league. Go Pistons!!!
