What tcase did you use to use Toyota solid axle ?

He is using the original 4cyl 22r T-case. With an Adapter Plate.

Did the 4.3 die or was there another reason to swap it out? They got pretty good power and are usually pretty reliable.

If I were to do this on a stock 82, do you think theres plenty of room between the engine and axles/drivelines? Thanks!

Yes it's the same as my 80. It's a tight fit to do it right but it does fit well.

Does the 3.4 bolt to the W56?

Ik this is old but any way a guy can access some information on getting it wired up to the first gen, doing the same swap on my 81 and that’s all I have left
