It's where I grew up. It's a great place. We used to bird hunt those fields during 4th 5th hour when they were Milo and wheat stubble. Incredible place to bring up a family.

F-ing Andale. Played for an area school where Andale was in our district. My school got a new head coach and finally became competitive, but Andale would typically end our post season. They have had a strong program for a long ass time

Very similar to my high school Southern Columbia in Pennsylvania. Small farming community school, the winningest football program in the state and head coach one win shy of 500. 14 State championships and now 7 in a row. Strong disciplined. ESPN had us go to South Carolina to play Hammond high school a few years ago in the opener and won 36-0. This would be a better matchup both schools so similar. Hopefully one day

Would be curious to see how they would have done against my NJ state champion team that averaged over 250 lbs on the d line. Well they didn’t end up winning Kansas state they actually ended up losing the week after the game against collegiate to Cheney and then lost to them again a month later. Andale from like 2021 was super hefty tho

2022-2023 Derby would have killed Andale. In 2021 Derby JV beat andale 42-6. We didn't even play Dylan, Sam, or Myles. The only reason Derby didn't win state that year in 6a was because Derby's QB broke his Fibula and Shattered his foot. In Sub State vs Manhattan, the backup QB ruptured his kidney and Dylan sprained his ankle. The reffing crew was also banned from reffing in playoff games from then on, as they had 17 penalties for 165 yards against Derby, and 2 penalties for 15 yards against Manhattan. Manhattan had beaten Derby by 3 in double OT in the first game of the year, but Derby was at the 17 and was lined up to kick it, but the kicker had had surgery on his knee only 2 days before the game.

Not being a hater, this happened to my hometown. We have the most state high school wrestling titles in the nation Perry Oklahoma. They made a documentary about our town "Price of Legacy" talking about how we have not gone more than 2 years without winning a state title. Since the documentary came out.... the program is at the lowest it has ever been. They have not won a state title now since 2019, and it does not look like there is a state championship in sight.... It has nothing to do with the documentary but damn it is tough to see a program like that go down so fast. I see Andale had lost 2 games this season. That is not a sign of things to come but a town that small it only takes a couple players a couple key positions and loss of confidence to go from undefeated to loosing a few games a season.

Wing T against the bigger schools like Detroit country day or Muskegon will probably not work well since they have more discipline secondary and a solid D line.
