I think the singer is just trying her best with material that maybe she is unaccustomed to. Labrie has a very prominent, bright vocal capacity, and she thinks that being sexy is all that matters i guess. This song/album carries so much emotion, its just gone over her head. Probably doesnt know what its all about.

Awesome job! Everything sounded great! The bass and guitars were excellent. I was actually surprised as to how good the electric drums sounded! Great playing! I was also pleasantly surprised by the female vocals. She did great. Her style reminded me a bit of Emilie Autumn, a lot of Gwen Stefani, with the rest being all her own. EXCELLENT!!!

not to many will play the overture to the deja vu!!! kudos! By the way I can sing that song and I'm a male. And was a vocalist in a previous band who's getting back into it. I used to sing the whole album from fates, "No Exit" tone for tone vibrato for vibrato etc.etc.. It's no smal task!!!

You know- I understand that everyone has, and will express their own opinions- but in all honesty, fuck what a lot of you guys have said about the singer's performance. She absolutely slayed it and brought many other layers of dimension to the music itself, regardless (but also very much in thanks to) of her very bold and energetic demeanor. I could be horribly mistaken about this, but I would find it much easier to believe that some of the people of this comments section thought she was being overtly seductive, simply because of the fact she's very attractive and doing what she loves to do, and fucking killing it. And perhaps that, for some reason (that I won't go into) makes some people uncomfortable whilst in the presence of a readapted form of something that they are already familiar and comfortable with.
