Overused Samples in Kpop Songs?

The kshmr whistle is the most egregious example for me personally because I associate it way to hard with that dreamcatcher song to the point where it feels out of place in any other song and is really distracting. In general I knew some of these samples were popular but wow it just kept going on and on. Like I feel it's fine to use a popular sample if you do something new with it or use it in a subtle way but just straight up slapping it on a song (especially if it's a very particular sound that's easily recognisable) feels lazy kinda. Also the listener will make an unconscious connection to another song that uses the sample which can make the whole thing feel unoriginal.

2:16 I swear, I heard a snippet of this sample being used in IZ*ONE's Suki to Iwasetai, just for like,, a second, in the bridge. I heard it every listen, and I always thought of TWICE's Fake and True every time.

Theres also a much older Korean song called Genie that samples Fur Elise. Eunhyuck and Donghae danced to it on Knowing Bros once.

Fur Elise is a common classical piece and these are more interpolations than samples. And a lot of them are creative and use it differently.
