I would immediately order a nexus if it only was available in 2nd focal plane. Only need it for hunting and with nightvision ffp does not work for me.

On the helix ..is the turrets reliable for dialing consistently?

Yes, the Helix tracking is spot on - something that is quite rare for a scope in this price range. We have spent a lot of time and effort working on this!

It depends on what sort of competitions, but you can't go wrong with the Nexus. They retail for $1500
