The FFG version of this book did not come wrapped in plastic. I agree, the dice key should be in the core rulebooks. It should be added by Edge Studios. The dice conversion table is in the Free Rpg Day adventure: Edge of the Empire - Under A Black Sun in Table 1-1. The adventure is free online.

Cool. Cusom dice ( dice with symbols ) is essentially just a means of making money.
