Welcome to my overview video for Baptism of Fire , a authentic early medieval fantasy old-school renaissance tabletop roleplaying game from Mad scribe games and the RPGpundit.

I have both PDF and physical copy. I got it on Amazon. I haven't played it yet but I love the Slavic flavor. Yes, Would like to see more creatures. It's one of my favorite manuals for the art and the way it's put together. I would also like to see some themed dice and a gm screen. But it's very nice. Still have mine in plastic.

I absolutely agree , a GM Screen would be really nice.

Nice video. Personally, I'm not a fan of paying for someone else to split a really nice "all in one" book into its separate smaller GM, Player, and Monster pieces. There are more than enough of the mainstream RPGs that follow DnD's cash grab mindset of 3 or 4 books (at $50+ each) that are needed to play their game. Why encourage OSR creators to do the same? $50 on this one book... photo copy a few pages if you need for PCs (or print the PDF), and super quickly create "monsters" on the fly with simple math or pull them from any of the myriad of on-line sources... and you're done. Or... spend $150 plus for some other games whose parent company is all about finding creative ways to get more of your money by exploiting consumer fear of missing out. It's a choice :)

I'm absolutely fine with that. Some people prefer the tome of death feel & sense of holding a book that is heavy enough to use as a blunt weapon. Sometimes, i like my books *THICCCC* as well and deep as the grand canyon.
