Looking into rosacea for my wife. Looking into over the counter treatment. She's had it for a couple years now and her dermatologist told her it was stress related. And to using makeup. I'm buying tea tree oil and some aloe vera plants to make my own concoction for her. Hope it works. Thanks for your input.

Why aren't doctors honest about this. It's not rare if people have excess androgens. That is common. It's genetic. You do need to wash hair and skin j sometimes twice a day. I t's rare when there is good dermatologists that are honest.

Yeah, it seems to be that everyone has these...but, it's when you have many that they become uncomfortable/visible (crusty yellowish gunk on the base of the lashes) and you need to treat them (so it seems). They can be hanging out anywhere that you have hair follicles. haha, "ahhh, I was pretty happy in my own little world...not knowing about demodex!" lol Working in the medical field will take care of that! lol yikes..."if you have rosacea, I would guarantee you have demodex" He said UP TO 97% patients had it when diagnosed with blepharitis too! feeds on oils...so, lol, best to keep your sebum levels down to keep from demodicosis! haha @ 5:20 Yeah! I heard about that! They have no anus...then they just sort of explode when they die. @ 7:00 haha! and, that was only his reaction to it.

I am surprised by this discussion of Demodex as though it is a single thing ~ It is a genus, and not all the species are the same, AT ALL!!! Some are completely normal within a population range, just like certain species of bacteria! And, like bacteria, people can have issues where they are immune compromised or have some imbalance, resulting in an overproliferation of the normal mites, which causes issues. But there are other species of demodex that are a whole other story. I'm dealing with one that I think (based on info from a forum that I stumbled across) is called Demodex Injai, and they are larger than microscopic, most common to dogs, and more savage in every way. You should be specific about what you are talking about; it would be more professional and useful.
