Yes, when a person makes the choice to turn from themselves to being a follower of Christ, it seems understanding the LORD part is important. It seems too many people just pay attention to the Savior part ( ok, I believe/ trust on who he is and for salvation), but do not factor into their decision to surrender to him as Lord also. That is part of saving faith. Deeds are not done to earn salvation! However, walking in His ways as best as possible( and having the desire to) , SHOULD be your character as a NEW creation in Christ.
