1) case study - event, activity, process, or one or more individuals in depth. 2) grounded theory - derives a general abstract theory grounded in the view of participants. (Sociology) 3) ethnography - intact cultural group in natural setting over a prolonged period of time. (Anthropology) 4) phenomenology - identifies essence of human experiences (philosophy of phenomenology) 5) narrative approaches - studies the stories that individuals provide about their lives and experiences

Definitely too late, but it's a book. 'Qualitative Inquiry and Research Design: Choosing Among Five Approaches'. This lecture references the 2nd edition, but the most recent is the 4th edition.
