This big GiantView 25x100 binocular provides a generous 4mm exit pupil and the serious magnifying power you need to resolve subtle details in your target object. The eyepieces focus individually, which affords a higher degree of focusing precision than center-focus mechanisms. The long 18mm eye relief even lets eyeglass wearers see an unrestricted field of view. Big and heavy astronomy binoculars provide breathtaking views of starry skies, but they require a very stable platform for comfortable stargazing use. While standard tripods are usually sufficient for daytime use of big binoculars to scan the horizon, using them to point big binoculars to the sky is another story. Inherent height limitations and awkward adjustment controls of standard tripods can lead to shaky, neck-straining views of the heavens above.
This crowd-pleasing mount's (#5752) parallelogram design can be used to raise and lower attached binoculars without disrupting the aim. This wonderful feature is a lifesaver when stargazing with family and friends of varying height, so each person can enjoy the view of the same object. With the Orion Monster Parallelogram Mount, you can position attached binoculars up to 6' and as low as 2'6". An optional pier extension is sold separately for additional height.

I have these binoculars and I love them, seen a view deepish space targets with them. (M13 in Hercules constellation was really nice viewing!) And yes for anyone wondering if you can see the rings of Saturn through them yes you can but it’s small (don’t expect to count the rings) but you can definitely see the rings of Saturn. I suggest for best viewing with these binoculars is to set them up an hour or so before so they adjust to the temperature! I’d also recommend a smaller pair of binoculars to go with them so you can find the targets easier

@@MrBachelorboy They arrived about a fortnight after that comment. Jupiter is about the same size as a match head about a metre away with at least 4 moons visible. ISS is a little upper case H. Almost need sunglasses for the moon. Saturn's rings visible too. Better than expected.

I just purchased the same bino's and this same tripod... I really wish I knew about that spacer, I would have added that to my order... I tried calling since it hasn't shipped yet so I could try and answer but it seems you're closed right now... bummer!

The advantage with Binoculars is that they offer a wider field of view. That means you will see more of the sky with the binoculars. They are amazing for looking at groups of stars. Great for the moon as well. Looking with two eyes gives an amazing image. Telescopes are better if you want if want to look at deep sky objects but want to look at more detail in the object. Binoculars are brilliant entry tool for astronomy because they are easy to use, cheaper and when you splash more money out on them you can get a real quality set.

Parallelogram mounts are not available in India yet I think. But try calling their customer service. It's available here in Canada.

I just ordered the same binoculars from Amazon... but without the mount ... currently I have Celestron SkyMaster 20x80.... I really hope the Orion will impress me even more than Celestron. If someone has a recommendation for a good sturdy tripod other than this parallelogram... would really appreciate!

But can you see Saturn's individual rings? That's what I'm looking for.

Youll see the shape of saturn but you wont see any detail of saturn if that makes sense in a telescope with the equivalent of 25x you can see the oval shape of saturn but there isnt fine detail, youd need at least a 100x to start seeing some good detail

I have these binoculars, you can see Saturn but it’s small (no you can’t count the rings) but you can see them and make out the ring, but for good viewing you have to set them up about an hour to half hour early so they adjust to the temperature👍👍
