Hello, Great presentation. May i know if a surface has 1 IEP or 2 IEPs. I can see that you have one s-type curve on each side of the pH scale. What does this signify.

Dear Jubilee, Thank you for watching the presentation. A surface may have 1 IEP. The graph you refer to is an idealized representation of an acidic surface (leftmost curve) and a basic surface (rightmost curve). These would be two different surfaces.
